Journal Aims and Scope

The Annals of surgery: Current trends is an open-access journal of international repute that publishes manuscripts pertaining to the following topics: tissue injury and repair, inflammation and immune recognition, effector mechanisms, clinical surgery, experimental surgery, robotic surgery, organ and tissue donation, special surgery techniques, xenotransplantation, graft survival, transplant complications, GVHD, prevention of graft failure and dysfunction, histocompatibility, cell therapy and islet transplantation, tissue engineering and immunosuppression, and drugs relevant to transplantation.

This journal publishes seminal information that would enable the development of novel transplantation strategies that have better success rates and are associated with fewer complications.
