Journal Aims and Scope
The Journal of Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal of international repute that publishes manuscripts pertaining to all aspects of biochemistry and numerous strategies employed in chemical engineering. Manuscripts may be based on theoretical, experimental, computational, or descriptive, and chemical, physical, or biological studies. Further, studies employing a combination of multiple approaches (e.g., experimentation validated by modeling and/or vice versa) are especially welcome. The Journal of Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering seeks contributions detailing significant advances in fundamental research that draw on core domains, such as thermodynamics, chemical reaction kinetics and engineering, catalysis, separation, and process systems engineering. Contributions pertaining to significant advancements in product research and development employing the principles of chemical and engineering to improve—or create new—catalysts, sorbents, membranes, plastics, and functional materials are particularly encouraged.
The Journal of Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering intends to serve as a platform for discussing the latest advancements in this dynamic field and synthesizing novel ideas and perspectives, which would result in the development of newer innovations and strategies that would enrich the fields of biochemistry and chemical engineering.
