Journal Aims and Scope

The Journal of Clinical Psychology and Mental Health is an open-access journal that publishes high-quality original research on all aspects of mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), borderline personality disorder, dissociative disorders, dementia, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychoses, and developmental disorders including autism in all age groups, i.e., childhood, adolescence, adult, and geriatric; areas of focus include the following: cognitive, behavioral, and biological assessments; genetics; epidemiology; diagnosis, prevention, and psychopharmacological and psychosocial treatment.

The journal publishes well-designed, methodologically sound articles employing theoretical or interpretative approaches. This is especially important in the current scenario as mental illnesses affect a person's thought processes, feelings, behaviour, and/or mood, thus impacting the day-to-day lives of these individuals and may also affect their ability to relate to others, thereby affecting society as a whole. The Journal of Clinical Psychology and Mental Health aims to engender a stronger collective voice for bringing a real change in how mental health conditions are treated and perceived across the world.
