The Journal of Ocular Diseases and Treatment publishes leading-edge research on common ocular diseases and the prevalence, causes, and treatments and diagnoses of the same. Manuscripts published in this journal aim to equip medical professionals with skills to clinically manage ocular diseases. The journal aims to ensure that pertinent and up?to?date information reaches medical professionals and researchers dealing with eye disease and blindness.
The Journal of Ocular Diseases and Treatment aims to play a central role in defining policies and regulations associated with ocular diseases and that applied and clinical research on ocular diseases are woven seamlessly with basic research by publishing manuscripts that represent a synthesis of clinical issues with public health approaches, such as research and technology, management, planning, advocacy, and training. This approach is especially important owing to the fact that ocular diseases impose a significant burden—both social and economic—on patients, their families, and healthcare systems.
